Sorry - forgot you were running Outlook 2010. Project is available on the ClearContext tab on the mail ribbon:

There is not currently a way to edit the 2010 ribbon to move/change buttons.

aakhter,

Scott is right that Outlook 2010 currently doesn't provide a way to customize the ribbon. What you can do, though, is put the Assign Project button on the Outlook Quick Access Toolbar, if you want to have fast and easy access to this function.

The same is true for most any CC button that you want to have quick and easy access to - just put it on the Quick Access Toolbar.

Let me know if you need the specific steps to do this.

Actually, I was able to do this. Here are the steps to put "Assign Project" on the Home tab:

* Right-click ribbon and select Customize the Ribbon
* Under the Home (Mail) tab, click on ClearContext
* Click New Group and give it a name (I used "CC Extras")
* Under Choose commands from, select All Commands
* Scroll down to Assign Project, select it, and click Add

Seems to work so far.
