assign a project without filing

Hello!
I am using version 5.
Is it possible to assign without filing to a project? In version 4 you could assign first and file it when needed.
Also, the delete-when-sending is gone, or I just cannot find the setting.
Any hints are greatly appreciated.

Add the Project button to your toolbar to assign without filing (ClearContext > Options > Toolbar/UI).

Ok - I'm obviously not awake, despite it being 1:30 pm.

I reinstalled V5B in order to get the Views installed properly and now the Project button is gone.

I went to Options - UI/Toobar, and none of the choices apply to the Project Button.

What am I not seeing?

Go in to the UI/Toolbar tab and add projects to be one of you toolbar items in the toolbar menu i outlook.
It worked for me.

Rick - there should be a Project option in ClearContext > Options > Toolbar/UI. This is for adding to the main toolbar only - there is not a way to add a Project button to the open message toolbar or ribbon.

In the UI/Toolbar option there are 5 check boxes, one under Folder Context and four under MessageContext.

There's nothing else there. Wish I could attach a screen shot.

Problem solved.

I had done an uninstall/install and I needed to reregister with my licence key.

As far as I can see the option of setting the Project without filing is not available at all in Office 2010.

You are correct - the project button is not currently available in 2010. We are looking into it for a future release.

I was looking for a way to assign a message w/o the filing part. Seems like This is done by the project button. And it also looks like the project button is not there in OL 2010.

Will this be solved in the next beta update?

I'm using beta 2, and there is still no option of Project assignemtn under the UI/Toolbar tab in the Options dialog.

Sorry, how would one 'Add the Project button to your toolbar' ?

* There is no project button selector in the UI tab
* i don't see anything similar to this in the OL 2010 ribbon custimization dialog box.
