Assigning a project without filing

Postby rcollings » Tue Apr 27, 2010 11:01 am

Is it possible to assign a project to an individual email in your inbox without filing it?

I know you can switch off one click filing universally (I think I have seen this somewhere) but if I don't want to do that (it is generally a good feature) I can't see a way of just assigning the project for an individual project.

Reasons why it would be useful to do this:
  • so that I can then use the Create AutoAssignRule option to create a rule which picks up the project assignment I have just made
  • so that I can assign a Project and then Defer
  • so that I can leave the email in my inbox for later processing

ClearContext > Message Actions > Assign Project. If you use this feature often, you may want to add the button to your toolbar via ClearContext > Options > UI/toolbar.

Thanks. Er - is there a way of splitting the ClearContext toolbar as I now have more buttons than will fit across the top of the screen (as my long project names cause the all the buttons to the right of this to be pushed off the toolbar)
