Auto-assigning topics to 'on behalf of' email addresses

Postby Phil » Fri Nov 07, 2008 2:51 pm

Hi,

I received an email headlined with the following sender:

LEGOLAND Windsor [LEGOLAND.enquiries=merlinentertainments.biz@mcsv29.net] on behalf of LEGOLAND Windsor [LEGOLAND.enquiries@merlinentertainments.biz]
.

To my "Marketing by name" rule I added merlinentertainments.biz@mcsv29.net and LEGOLAND.enquiries@merlinentertainments.biz.

To my "Marketing by domain" rule I added mcsv29.net.

All were copy-and-pasted to avoid keying errors.

None of these set the topic on the email when applying either the individual rules or the complete set. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Regards,

Philip

Running Outlook 2003 SP3 with ClearContext 4.5.1.

I don't expect that rule to pick up "on behalf of" email addresses. It reads the actual sender only.
