Autoassign logic for multiple addresses: AND or OR

Postby mikelee999 » Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:47 pm

If i input multiple "message is addressed to" email addresses in an autoassign rule (email1@address.com; email2@address.com), will the rule fire only if the message is to both addresses or if it is to either?

It appears to be only if sent to both, but I'm confused because the "overwrite existing topic" flag also may be in play, from what I've read in the forums.

It's an OR, not an AND. The rule described below should fire off if a message is sent to either of the addresses listed.

The overwrite flag doesn't really have anything to do with this. That flag tells ClearContext to follow the rule, regardless of whether or not a previous Topic was assigned to the message thread.
