The error message below indicates that MAPI is unavailable to ClearContext:

SEVERE_ERROR: (MAPI, .\COutlookContext.cpp, 177)
MAPIInitialize failed

If a reboot doesn't resolve the problem, try running Help > Diagnostics (2007) or Help > Detect & Repair (2003) from within Outlook. Outlook 2003 will likely ask for your Office installation CDs.

If that doesn't resolve the problem, try running FIXMAPI from your Windows\System folder to repair.
