Assigning emails to tasks

One of the things I love about CC is being able to see the MessageContext window at the bottom of a task I created from an email.

However if I get another email with a different subject line name etc, it will not be included in the context window, is there anyway of associating an email with a task?

Actually what I want to do is, assign or link an existing task to this new email thread.

There is currently no way to manually reassign tasks from one email thread to another. The only workaround would be to create a new task from the new email thread and copy the contents of the old one.
