Default priority for new respondents

Postby rcollings » Fri Dec 14, 2007 6:16 pm

Now that I can filter my inbox to only show emails with a normal priority or above, I have a new requirement. (!)

I would like to make sure that emails from new respondents (ie: people I haven't got in my address book and/or for which I haven't set up a rule) get a Normal (Green) priority so that they still appear in my filtered view - so that I can decide what to do with them.

Is this possible with the current version?

If not, could you consider this a request for a new feature in some way?

Thanks.

Richard:

I think you can do this with the Outlook Rules Extension. Set it to assign a priority of Normal to all messages from Contacts that don't exist in your address book.
