Accessing properties from Visual Basic

Postby mattcooling » Thu May 08, 2008 8:20 am

I want to access the CC-TopicName property from a Visual Basic macro, and hoped to use the way I typically ask custom fields

Set MyProperty = MyMail.UserProperties.Find("CC-TopicName")

However, this doesn't appear to work. Have you implemented this differently, and can you easily tell me how to access this parameter?

Many thanks,

Matt

Matt:

We don't support accessing our data from VB. That said, you might be able to poke around the view definitions for one of our custom views to see how Outlook accesses these fields.

Good luck.
