Outlook 2003 nickname list not working

Postby avalonnyc » Mon Jul 27, 2009 5:11 am

I installed the eval about a week ago. Since then, my Outlook nickname list (the 1000 most recently used email addresses, that pops up suggestions when you start typing an address) no longer functions. Is this a known problem?

This is not a known issue, but it sounds like a memory problem. Do you have several archive PSTs open in Outlook? If you close some of them does that make a difference? Details here:

Just an update on this issue. We had the same issue with a user and what we found is that his .nk2 file work fine on other PC's, but not on his. Ingressor did not fix the solution and found no issues with the .nk2 file. The user had many PST files open on his tree. Once we closed many of these PST files, his .nk2 file began to update again. We believe it is a memory issue. PST files actually use alot of memory resources when open on the Outlook tree.
