Copy to "Deleted Items" while Moving to CC Folder?

Postby RMBloodgood » Thu Sep 24, 2009 10:37 am

I did a few searches and didn't see this. I would lilke a checkbox in configuration that allows me to advise ClearContext to copy emails I file under Topic Folders to the Deleted Items folder. I need this for two reasons:

The BlackBerry sync works by seeing emails in the Deleted Items folder and then deleting the same emails from the BlackBerry. (I've lived with this for years)

I now have a new eMail provider and the server will only remove items that have been deleted from the Deleted Items Folder.

If I could make a selection so that, when I select a Topic and Send Msg or Send Thread, the emails are copied to "Deleted Items" AND moved to the appropriate Topic Folders, neither my Blackberry nor my new eMail Server would fill up with messages that I have processed.

If this has been addressed or covered, please provide a link.

Thanks,

Thanks for the suggestion. No, it has not previously been covered. I have added it to the list for future consideration.

One suggestion - configure ClearContext to use Topic folders in a PST instead of Exchange. It sounds like this will resolve the issue for one or both of your providers. Details here.
