Project dashboard tasks

When I create a task it is not showing up in the project dashboard task/action area? But show's up under the summary. What am I missing here?

Are you assigning a Project to the task? Please attach screen prints showing an open task with project assigned and the associated Project Dashboard where it should be appearing so that we can take a closer look. Thanks.

I wonder if you need to hit the refresh button. I've noticed that I have to hit refresh alot to reflect the latest changes to my views... even when I change views and then come back to it. Is there an auto refresh option that I am overlooking?

That could be the source of the issue. ClearContext auto-refreshes where it can, but there are some cases where Outlook doesn't tell us a change has been made.
