Prompt to delete/file after reply?

Postby gerwin » Mon Aug 20, 2007 12:25 pm

Seems like this feature used to be on, but I am no longer prompted when replying to an email to file it, or dleete it.

Can I turn on :
* Prompting for assignment to a follow up task?
* Prompting to delete / or file a message after processed?

Sorry for newbie quesitons, thanks for the help!

File/Delete prompts are set via ClearContext > Options > Preferences > Misc. Check or uncheck the Automatic Action Notifications.

There is not currently a way to instruct IMS to create a follow-up on send if one has not been created. You can, however, create a follow-up after sending by selecting the sent message and going to ClearContext > Followup Message.

I am not getting any prompts to delete, when I reply to a message. I've tried to check/uncheck automatic notifications, and NOTHING changes.

This used to happen, it no longer des. It was really helpful to choose to delete when replying ... how can I turn this back on?

First, make sure that "Disable notification for original message filing" and "Disable notification for original message deletion" are both unchecked.

Then, as you reply to message, make sure you are setting the original message value to File or Delete. IMS will remember the last state Original Msg was in the next time you reply to a message.
