Splash Screen does not "go away"

Postby gardar » Sun Feb 07, 2010 9:41 am

I am running 5.0.2 and once in a while when I start Outlook (using 2007) the ClearContext splash screen does not go away. I can generally fix this by closing and restarting Outlook, but this is rather annoying

Is there anyway to disable the splash screen or do you have a "fix" for this problem?

Thanks

Initially this sounds like either corruption within your environment or a conflict with another add-in:

1. Try running Help > Diagnostics from within Outlook.
2. If that doesn't help, run SCANPST against your mail file(s)
3. If that doesn't help, disable your other add-ins and see if the issue is resolved.

Please let us know the results.
