Suggestion: auto file rules based on "subject contains"

Postby stan_knutson » Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:36 am

I want to use a string from the email subject as the rule for autofiling of email.
Example is subject: [Protege-discuss] about xx

I really want these emails to be auto-filed based on the string [Protege-discuss]
The sender is not sufficient: there are 100's of users (I have created rules for the 15 or so most active, but there are many others that only post once in a while).

I can do this using Outlook rules, but I have run into the limit of the Exchange email server (about 25 rules)

thank you for the feedback. It is our intention to expand the capabilities of AutoFile in future releases.

In the interim, you may want to try the older AutoAssign feature which is capable of filing by subject.
