What is the story on reactivating the Outlook Rules Extension capability? If I remember correctly, it was removed in the 4.5 version, and how we are at version 4.6.

Are you working to make it available again?

+1 Vote... This tool was very handy, would be great to get it back.

Thanks for the feedback. We do not have near term plans to resurrect the Outlook Rules Extension, but I have forwarded your request to the team for review.

This capability was a wonderful addition to the CC suite of tools.
Are there any other CC devotees who used and miss it? Speak up if you'd like to see it back.

FYI - my understanding is that the Outlook Team discontinued the Outlook Rules API, which makes resurrecting this particular functionality more difficult than it seems at first blush.

Thanks for the feedback.

So, is this the official word from the CC development team, that the feature will not be resurrected?

The feature request is fairly significant and must be prioritized along with the rest of our development efforts. I don't expect it to be implemented near term (v5.0).

Just wondering if this one is still on the list and how likely it is to appear in a future CC release. Having the ability to assign CC Projects programmatically, either through an Outlook custom action or through VBA, would be a huge plus.

Thanks,
Carl

Carl - this feature request remains on the back burner for now. Our more immediate priority in this area is to enhance AutoAssign and integrate it with AutoFile. Thanks as always for the feedback.
