In cases where neither the 32 and 64 bit version of the ClearContext installer will install, reporting that the 32/64 bitness of Outlook does not match ClearContext, there is likely conflicting information in the Windows registry on whether Outlook is 32 or 64 bit. This can be caused by having 32 and 64 bit versions of Outlook installed at different times.

In those cases, those settings need to be manually fixed. First go to the Outlook about screen and determine whether you have the 32 or 64 bit version. The version number display will explicitly say 32 or 64 bit. Please use following steps to check the settings, and correct it if needed:

1) Click on the window icon on the bottom left of your desktop and run “regedit” (without quotes)
2) In the Registry Editor Program, Click the Edit->Find option and search for a value called “Bitness”

3) If the Bitness value is found in a folder similar to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook (the number 15.0 may be 14.0 or 16.0. Also, the path may also contain WOW6432Node), change it to “x86” if your Outlook is 32 bit or “x64" if your Outlook is 64 bit by double clicking on the Bitness text

6) *IMPORTANT* Repeat search until all instances of Bitness are checked and/or repaired
